Meet Our Staff

Meredith DeOlavarria
meredith@urbanpetsitting.com

Meredith started pet sitting for friends and neighbors at a very young age. She didn’t even have a driver’s license so she rode her bike or walked to homes close by. It was her true love for animals that made her decide that one day she wanted to do something with pets on a much larger scale.

After many years in the aquatics risk management business she decided to start her venture and start Urban Pet Sitting. In the beginning she did every client by herself and learned all the ins and outs of pet sitting. Some interesting things can happen and she knew that if she was going to properly train her employees she better have a lot of first hand knowledge.

After a couple of years of doing everything by herself, and a couple of children later she decided she had to start hiring girls to help her out. She truly misses our regular daily clients and still gets out every once in a while to make visits.

Urban Pet Sitting is a labor of true love for animals! Meredith currently has a 16 ½ year old miniature schnauzer, named Leslie, that needs frequent visits during the day and overnight supervision. All of Meredith’s employees are ones that she truly trusts to provide excellent care for your pets as well as hers.
